Heat Pumps

|

Quality and Ecology
The air and the earth hold a permanant stock of energie which is constantly replenished
by the suns warmth and the rain.
Using this abundunt resource of energy is free and without adverse consequence to the environment
|
The heat pump captures the energy present in the environment, the air, the
ground and in underground water sources, and transfers this energy into heat which
can be used to warm building and heat water.
In general a heat pump that consumes 1 kwh of energy to function returns up
to 4 kwh in heating output from energy naturally present in the environment, all
the time preserving that same environment.
|
The Choice
Geothermal OR GROUND SOURCE heat pumps harness the ambiant warmth of the
earth to provide efficient heating or cooling options returning over three times
the power they consume. Ideal for underfloor domestic heating systems.
These ground-source heat pumps use the natural heat storage capacity of the
earth or ground water to provide energy efficient heating, cooling and hot water.
Air Source Heat Pumps
Air source heat pumps operate in the same fashion as ground source units, using
the energy present in the outside air insted of the ground
Solution and Environment
Reversible Heat Pumps
A reversible heat pump is an air conditioner that contains a valve that lets it
switch between " air conditioner " and " heater." When the valve
is switched one way, the heat pump acts like an air conditioner, and when it is
switched the other way it reverses the flow of the liquid inside the heat pump
and acts like a heater.
